What Was I Thinking!!

Here I am waking up Saturday morning 9 days before Christmas and nothing to do. Husband is at work and the kids are wired and it is only 7:30 am. So I get out of bed, start the kettle and think about what we could do to waste the day away. Instead of doing laundry, wrapping presents, doing the dishes or cleaning the house I decided that we should head to the mall. WHAT WAS I THINKING??? First of all I convince my 3 year old that riding in the stroller is the best idea and surprisingly enough he agrees. So here we are in the furthest most parking spot we start off on our adventure. Our first stop is Winners. All I need is a birthday for the mother-in-law. This should have been easy. My 7 year old does not like anything that I pick out and the 3 year old (who is way too big for the stroller) has figured out how to push the stroller by himself by pushing the wheels with his feet. So as I am explaining to my 7 year old that Grandma may not like pink leopard print my 3 year old is rolling down the main isle. Well after about 45 minutes we are in line and paying. Next stop Shopper's, only to find out the item I saw in the gift flyer that may be worth $15 is selling for $25. So in line again to pay for 2 packages of tic tacs and a well needed pack of gum. Next on the list is the rides. Keep in mind that I just said no because I did not have any change only to discover my 7 year old has change in her pocket. Well that just wasted 15 minutes and we are off to Stiches. On the list is presents for Daddy. I had never been in the store before because they do not carry my size but lucky for me they have Daddy's size. Also in my favour the whole store is on sale. $70 later I am off with 2 sweaters for Daddy and 2 sweaters for me. My lucky day, if Mommy is happy then everyone is happy. Next we head to Sears (and apparently so does everyone else). "All we need to buy is a present for Papa" I said. Well that did not sit to well. All I heard was "I have to pee" and 'I am hungry can we go". First attempt failed so off to the bathroom and fight to go back into the stroller but after a very well thought out bribe we are off again. The second attempt failed so we are outta here. The argue over lunch was something to write home about but Mommy won. We pull into the parking lot at Williams (sort of like Central Perk from Friends) because Mommy needs a cup of coffee and to my surprise I hear giggles from the back seat. They have just figured out where we are and apparently my 3 year old having the same name as the restaurant finds this is pretty amusing. We wait in line, order and find a seat. To my amazement both kids eat all of their bagels in peace and are not fighting. After 45 minutes we are off to Zehrs to get groceries for our Christmas dinner with friends. Who knew that selecting bagels could be hazardous to your health. I practically had to beat up a lady and her kids just to get them out of the way. After a few more items we head for the check outs where I found out that if your kids talk to the cashier you may get something for free. Merry Christmas to me but what was I thinking????

Under Garments!!!

Underware, under pants, panties, briefs, knickers or gitch or what whatever else you call them they are one in the same. The other day I actually broke down, trucked my butt to the store and attempted to buy underware. I, like so many find this frustrating and annoying. What ever happened to going in looking for your size and that was all the effort it took. They are in fact JUST underware. I was amazed to find BIKINI, HI-CUT, BOY SHORTS, BRIEFS, LOW WASTE, FULL FIGURE and THONGS. There honestly could have been more but I could not wrap my mind around it. What ever happened to just covering the back and holding in the front? Once you find the style your next task is picking the fabric. This is somewhat easier but still you can choose cotton, silk, spandex and lycra. And lets not forget the other options lace, strips, solids, patterns, white, colored, jewels or perhaps holiday themed. My God people it's certainly not rocket science. No one ever sees them unless it is intended so what is the deal? Who honestly has the hour to stand there and make the choice? Trust me guys this is not something you want to rush and lets face it, this is one item that people do not like to try on. After about a half an hour and what seemed like a headache starting, I had made my decison and was happy to be heading home.

He's BACK

He's back, did you hear, he's back!!!!!.
Merry Christmas to ME the sexiest man alive is out of retirement. With his massive arms, buldging biceps, that sexy voice and oh that butt, he is the man of my dreams. OK, back to reality he has aged (but who of us hasn't) and the face could use some work but honestly I am not really looking at his face. In case you are still wondering Rocky Balboa is back with Paulie and his son as his manager for one more fight. One can only wonder what trouble he will get into this time around but let me tell you this one should be good. I wonder if he will once again utter his famous phrase "Yo Adrian". In all honestly if he just sat there and did nothing it would still be a darn good movie. I realize it will never happen but one day he will be mine (after I loose 30 pounds, get a boob job and of course actually met the man) but I can hope. Rob better get ready because when Stallone comes knocking I am so gone.
I do dream big don't I.
Sandra Stallone does have a nice ring to it now doesn't it????

21 Days Left!!!!

Just a reminder there is only 21 shopping days left until Christmas!! Just thought I would let you all know, In case anyone had forgotten. I would like to take this moment and ask what is wrong with some Christmas shoppers? Why do they feel the need to stand in the middle of the isle and look at the same item for 10 minutes? Honestly, if it takes you 10 minutes to think about it then you probably shouldn't buy it. If you are in the clothing section measuring up other women or men to try and figure out if they are the same size of the person you are buying for, then you should put the item back and step away slowly. I do not understand the concept of just wondering around with your head in a fog. They are called lists people and I think there are some out there that could use a good one. One more item on the agenda, for all of those out there that have their head in a fog but happen to be pushing a cart, people unhand your weapon and step outside. What are you thinking? First of all as you are driving your cart up my *ss you are practically running down my kids. When I turn around to shoot a dirty look, you look stare at me as if my kids are to blame. If my kids are not screaming, not asking for something, at my side and not being giant boobs they are not to blame. One last thing to talk amongst yourselves, what is with the people that just stop in the middle of the isles? Walking down the main isle, full traffic zone and the dude infront stops for no reason but to stick this head in the fog and stare at nothing. I will say it again, it you do not know what it is at first glance then you shouldn't buy it. As some of you are wondering yes I work in retail and have to put with these wonderful people on a daily basis. Trust me when I say 'it takes all kinds'. So please make lists, keep your head out of your fogs, and watch for the stop free zones and no parking areas. Just to mention that I am one of the 'special' people that start early and I am done shopping. Good luck to you all in your travels and shop smart. For those with their heads in a fog use the hand baskets, make a list and watch for stopping areas and if you have to think about it DO NOT BUY IT.
Happy Holidays!!!! (and good luck)

Sad News!! :o(

I know it has been awhile but what better way to start back then to share our bad news. For those of you who know me you know how hard this is for me. Sometime ago Rob had this bright idea that he needed a cat. So like the good girlfriend I was at the time, I told him it was the most wonderful idea he had ever had. You see I really wanted a cat but because I still lived at home that was not a good idea and I had no intentions of moving out so this was the next best thing. So here I am at the SPCA with Rob and the idea that we would pick out this cute little kitten, bring it home, love it and watch it grow. Well were we ever stupid. There was a hundred cats and they all looked the same. We stood there like a couple of morons watching all of these cats lick themselves and sleep in their litter boxes and I was overwhelmed to say the least. How can you pick one out of a hundred to bring home and love, when all of a sudden this THING jumped up into the window. Rob and I stood there dumb founded while the little girl beside us screamed. What the hell were we looking at? It sort of looked like a cat but was the ugliest thing we had ever seen. Like the saying goes he had a face only a mother could love. So because I am so nosey I asked. Turns out this thing was a cat. He was a Persian that was so badly matted that they had to shave him. His owner gave him up. He was three (at the time) had a heart murmur and urinary tract problems. Everyone that came in and saw him all said the same thing "he is too much work". So there I am standing there looking at this pathetic cat and the light bulbs went off. I HAD TO HAVE HIM. So we fill out the paper work and off we go. The next day Rob is off to work and my girlfriend and I are off to pick up this cat. We bring him home only to find out that he is afraid of his own shadow BUT it was a new house after all. So the phone rings and here I am telling Rob how cute HIS new cat is when he jumps up on Rob's bed and pees all over the comforter, which buy the way I found very funny. Sometime later we find out that Gizmo (my precious baby) hates Rob and hides from anybody who ever steps foot in our house. He hides from everyone and has attacked Rob and the 2 kids but he loves me. Once we had Charlotte we discovered that she was allergic to cats and the cat had to go. Well once I was done crying I came to the conclusion that the cat was here first and he is staying. That was five years ago. Needless to say that Charlotte is still allergic to the cat, the cat hates everybody except for me, and he attacks Chloe and Jesse. (In closing I am finally getting to the bad news). I am truly sad to say that November 02/2006 Gizmo went to the big litter box in the sky.

This is Gizmo my beautiful baby.

This is what Gizmo looked like after he was shaved. We had Gizmo shaved every couple of months because we could not keep up with all the brushing.

We all miss Gizmo very much and believe it or not Chloe, our Jack Russell terrier is actually in morning, Jesse on the other hand could actually care less. I just wanted to add that Gizmo had lead a full life and in January he would have turned 15 years old.

Our New Baby!!!!

I would like to introduce our new baby
JESSE JAMES
Born April 16/2006 he came to live at our house in August. One of my customers brought him and his sister (Sophie) into the store and of course I fell in love with him. Rob on the other hand needed some help and when that did not work I just brought him home. Never a dull moment around here. Jesse very much lives up to his name. He climbs, jumps, bites, nothing is safe, he even will jump into the tub if you are having a shower. If the kids are too slow at eating their cereal in the morning Jesse is right there to help whether his help is wanted or not. Gizmo does not like the new addition but Chloe on the other hand loves him. We are convienced that Chloe thinks that he is her baby. They play together, clean each other, sleep together and even follow each other around. It really is quite cute and maybe one day I will tell her that Jesse is not a dog (but maybe not). I do think that Chloe needs a friend of her own, but if I do that it will be me living in her dog house. Stay tuned!!!! :o)

Fall is Here!!!!

Happy Birthday To Me!!!!
As happy as this day is for me I am also a bit sad because it means that summer is officially over. This summer had been a very exciting one for me. We took the kids camping for the first time and nobody got hurt or lost and to my amazement everyone had fun even Rob. This summer also marked the first year since I was 17 that I wore a bikini. Okay I wore a cover up but I still had one on. We went camping in Long Point with mosquito's the size of my head and hotter then hell but we had lots of fun. We even saw some fire flies. This summer I also discovered Black Flies (yummy), they even make them in freezies, watch out. The beginning of the summer I went to visit my good friend Joe for yet another tattoo. He is amazing, if you are looking I recommend Blue Dragon and ask for Joe (I should get a discount for this) The only good thing about summer being over is that the snow will soon be here. I do believe that its 3 months until Christmas. YAHOO!!!!!!!!! Anywho Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday dear Sandra, Happy Birthday to ME.

I Except the Challenge

In all honesty I could have written something else but I do not like to back down from a challenge and seeing as this is not all that hard I am so there. Even though I had no idea what a Meme was until about 10 minutes ago here it goes.

I am thinking about ... going to limeridge tomorrow on my day off

I just said... Chloe leave the cat alone

I want to ... loose another 15 pounds, go to my first Leafs game and learn to play the drums

I wish... I could see my Uncle Ray one more time, I could follow my heart and not my head -my con list is always bigger than my pro list-(I can think of a million reasons not to do something and then I just don't even though deep down I do)

I regret... not being honest with others as well as myself and eating the peice of pizza I just ate

I sing... at home, at work, in the van, alone, with my kids, its fun and puts me in a good mood. I am even singing now while I am typing.

I hear... Lips of an Angel by Hinder playing on my itunes, actually it just changed to I Don't Feel Like Loving You Today (FYI today is my anniversary hehehehe)

I am... very thired and thirsty and excited because Wednesday is my BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

I dance... at home, at work, drunk, sober, alone, with my kids, its fun and good exercise

I'm behind... in working on my kids scrapbooks and updating my bank books.

I cry... during sad movies, at funerals and sometimes if I am really angry and can't deal with it any other way

I am not... the type of person to let anything go. I tend to live in the past and I hold grudges a very LONG time.

I forgot... today was Monday

I confuse... sometimes very easily and my kids names with my pets names.

I write.. whenever I have a pen and a peice of paper in hand and when I have the time

I need... to win the lottery, get another tattoo and to convience some more friends to blog because I have no one else to challenge :o(

Happy Friday!!

Who ever made up this greeting? What is so happy about Fridays? Really think about it for a minute? Most people work weekends, and if they do not work outside the home there is laundry to be done, dishes to be cleaned and beds to be made. Not to mention the list your lovely wife or husdand has made. And for the TV, Friday and Saturday have to be the two worst nights of the week. So like I said what is so happy about Fridays? If you are married and have kids it is just another day of the week except that there is nothing on the boob tube.
If anyone was wondering yes I am very bitter today. It is Friday and what am I doing? Listening to my itunes while my 3 year old is jumping on the couch and watching Air Bud for the second time today. I am also waiting until I have to go to work. No I am not working this weekend but I am doing laundry and making Rob lay the floor at our front door. If the floor does not get done tomorrow someone will get hurt.
Did anyone catch the new shows that aired last night? I sure did. Grey's Anatomy, CSI and ER. I just have to say that these are my most fave shows and yet they were disappointing. You could just tell what was going to happen next. One can only hope that they get better over time or else someone is going to get hurt.
Anywho bitter girl has had her say for now. I better go and get ready for work so I can go and spread my Friday cheer. So just to just to go along with everyone else HAPPY FRIDAY to you all. I need a beer.
Very bitter indeed. :o)

Oh My God!!!!!

Hello,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I am so excited that my shows start this week. I know you all must be asking what would this beautiful young woman be interested in watching. Well let me tell you. First the amazing race started yesterday. I am routing for the Father/Daughter team. I woud love to go on this show one day. I know that the only people that I could stand that long would be either my Brother or my Dad. If Rob and I went on that show we would be divorced before the first rest stop. Hey wait a minute let me change my answer the only person I would take would be Rob (hehehe). Thursday is my personal vegetation night. I am looking forward to CSI, ER and Grey's Anatamy. McDreamy now why can't all doctors look like this. ER will Abby have or loose her baby gee I wonder. CSI the biggest waste of space makes his guest apperence. Yes I am talking about Brittany Spears husband. Like I said a waste of space.
I am so dissapointed that Rockstar is over. I am glad however that Lukas Rossi who is from Toronto Ontario Canada won. CANADAINS ROCK. I will admit that at times he did suck but for the most part he was the bomb. I do think that either Storm or Dilana would have also been a great choice but then they would have had to marry Tommy Lee, which on the outside would not have been totally bad. He is HOT. Dumb but hot.
To update you all on my first blog I have successfully down loaded 40 songs on my own and actually transfered them on to my phone. Yey me.......... My next challange is to add some addresses to this darn thing.
Oh well gotta go and get my snacks ready because CSI Miami starts soon.

I'm Not A Loser

Hello to you all,
I would like to start my post just by thanking my ever so beautiful, fun loving and most of all my faverite cousins Scott and Stephanie for introducing me to this thing. It is because of these two ever so lovely people that I am able to blog. So sorry for the rest of you that actually read this. If you ever see them feel free to give them heck. I must say that I am pretty proud of my self. I set this up all by myself without screwing it up (so far). I even downloaded something today by myself. It didn't really work and now Rob has to fix it but I don't think anyone should hold that against me, it was my first time and all. I have a new cell phone that I know how to work and I can actually send text messages so if I have your number watch out, I am pretty good at it. See I told you all that I am not a total loser. That is all for now I have to go and try to download now.

Sandra The Great

P.S. Mary grab the net hehehehe

Before I go Rob, Mary and I went to see the Hip last weekend in Stratford. Oh my god were they awesome.
